ARCH 1202 - PROJECT 2
The layout of this poster is to separate two buildings and link the concept ideas together.
In the first one, Saint Benedict Chapel, the orange line on the top link the concept ideas of parti diagram and follows the order of plan analysis (from exterior geometry to interior form), section analysis (structure, pillars, roof and the way light enter into this Chapel), the location analysis (with some context buildings and the way the direction of the Chapel affect its light)
In the second building, Philharmonie, the blue line link the parti diagram from the plan analysis to section analysis of sound reflecting in the theatre, then the plan and location analysis of the main entrance in circulation of the building, the next one is the plan analysis of the light coming into the building through the skyline (the main skylight window area is in the west north direction where the main entrance and lobby located, so it gain more sun light for this area as this area often contain a lot of people coming to the theatre), and the final is the parti diagram of the circulation when it highlights the main stair's directions, the most complex movement in this theatre.
